Brown rice vs White rice
When only the outermost layer of the rice grain is removed, we get the brown rice which is a whole grain.
The bran and germ layers underneath the husk are removed, leaving mostly the starchy to produce white rice. Though it looks better, several Vitamins and dietary minerals are lost in this removal and the subsequent polishing. So it’s clear we lose all these growth factors to get white rice and that brown rice is a better choice.
